The location is unbeatable, right above the stunning Vøringfossen waterfall. The room I had, while charming with its vintage decor, felt a bit outdated and could use some modernization. Breakfast options were mostly continental and could benefit from more variety like eggs or bacon, though the offerings were fresh. Staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. they even prepared a breakfast sandwich for me when I had to leave early. The dining experience was lovely, with delicious meals showcasing local cuisine. Though the absence of a kettle in the room was inconvenient, the overall atmosphere compensated for that. Just be prepared for some noise from rooms nearby as the walls are quite thin.

The facilities seem outdated, with small rooms and inadequate bathroom setups!!! A fresh coat of paint would help the ambiance tremendously!!! The lack of adequate shelf space is frustrating!!!

The location is truly breathtaking, with views overlooking the stunning Vøringfossen waterfall. The vintage character of the hotel added a charming touch to my stay. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home.

However, the room was a bit outdated, lacking modern amenities such as air conditioning and a TV. Some aspects felt worn, and improvements could be made in shelf space and Wi-Fi stability.

Some rooms felt outdated with cold temperatures, and the windows were old-fashioned and tricky to open. An awkward five-inch barrier between the room and bathroom posed a hazard, and there's a peculiar seating arrangement at the entrance that serves little purpose. Shower drainage was problematic, resulting in a wet floor if not monitored closely.

The location of Fossli Hotel is absolutely stunning, perched right above the breathtaking Vøringfossen waterfall. I truly appreciated the hotel's unique historic charm, enhanced by the welcoming and attentive staff who made my stay very pleasant.

The Double Room was quite cozy, and I loved waking up to the sound of the waterfall right outside. The view was stunning, and the vintage decor added a lot of charm. However, the room felt a bit dated and could use more shelf space. Also, the lack of a TV might be off-putting for some. Still, it was clean, and the bed was comfortable, making for a decent night’s sleep.
